Shelly's Music
Shelly writes songs to feelings, developing narratives around how our emotions bleed into our choices. Her lyrics draw inspiration mostly from personal experience, literature, and nature. One of her favorite ways to write songs is by exploring themes, characters and settings from her favorite lesser known books or games. In contrast, Shelly also likes to write new songs by adapting well-known texts and exploring them from new angles. Like most musicians, she also enjoys sharing these songs through live performance.
